This trip combines the trekking in the beautiful high altitude lakes, different floras, mountain ridge with beautiful Himalayas views. The trip starts at Paro and ends at Thimpu. Day to Day Itinerary

Day 01 :Arrive Paro 2280 meters. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 02:Sightseeing in Paro. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 03:Trek to Jele Dzong (3560 Meters) about 5 hours. Overnight at Camp.

Day 04:Trek to Jangchulakha (3770 Meters) about 4 hours. Overnight at Camp.

Day 05:Trek to Jimilangtso (3870 Meters) about 4 hours. Overnight at Camp.

Day 06:Trek to Simkota (4110 Meters) about 5 hours. Overnight at Camp.

Day 07:Trek to Phajoding (2520 Meters ) about 5 hours and drive to Thimphu. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 08:Sightseeing in the capital city of Bhutan- Thimpu. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 09:Drive to Punakha about 3 hours via Dochula Pass and sightseeing. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 10:Drive to Paro via Thimpu. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 11:Departure at Paro International Airport.

Detail Itinerary

Day 01 Arrive Paro 2280 meters. Overnight at Hotel.Our airport representative will receive you from Paro International Airport. You will drive to the Hotel. After lunch, you will visit the places like the Drukgyal Dzong and Kichu Lhakhang, built in 659 A.D by the Tibetan king Srongsen Gampo. Our guide will brief you in details about the places. Dinner and overnight at hotel.

Day 02Sightseeing in Paro. Overnight at Hotel. The wonderful sightseeing in Paro includes the places like the spectacular Taktsang (Tiger’s Nest) monastery , Satsam Chorten, Ta Dzong (built in1656 and renovated in 1968), an ancient watchtower, which now houses the Nationa Museum and Paro Rimpung. Our guide will brief about the cultural and historical aspects the places during the tour. Dinner and overnight at Hotel.

Day 03Trek to Jele Dzong (3560 Meters) about 5 hours. Overnight at Camp.We start trek above the National Museum. Continuous climb leads to camp set near the old Jele Dzong. The camp is situated at 3560 Meters above the sea level. We will walk about 5 hours and cross the distance of 10 KM today. Overnight at Tented Camp.

Day 04Trek to Jangchulakha (3770 Meters) about 4 hours. Overnight at Camp.The trek starts with a short climb and then passes through a thick alpine forest of rhododendron and gradually climbs till we reach camp. The camp is situated at 3770 Meters above the sea level. We will walk about 4 hours and cross the distance of 10 KM today. Overnight at Tented Camp.

Day 05Trek to Jimilangtso (3870 Meters) about 4 hours. Overnight at Camp.We set camp close to the Lake Jimilangtso after crossing the ridge and enjoying the beautiful views of the mountains and valleys. These lakes are known for their giant sized trout. The camp is situated at 3870 Meters above the sea level. We will walk about 4 hours and cross the distance of 11 KM today. Overnight at Tented Camp.

Day 06Trek to Simkota (4110 Meters) about 5 hours. Overnight at Camp.The trail takes you through rhododendron trees and lake of Janetso. The camp is situated at 4110 Meters above the sea level. We will walk about 4 hours and cross the distance of 11 KM today. Overnight at Tented Camp.

Day 07Trek to Phajoding (2520 Meters ) about 5 hours and drive to Thimphu. Overnight at Hotel.From here we slowly descend down to Phajoding Monastery from where Thimphu town is visible at the valley floor. After lunch we drive to the Traditional Medicine Institute where medicines are prepared according to ancient practices. We will walk about 5 hours and cross the distance of 15 KM today. Overnight in Hotel.

Day 08Sightseeing in the capital city of Bhutan- Thimpu. Overnight at Hotel.Sightseeing in the capital city of Bhutan includes the places like National Memorial Chorten (1974), the National Library, stocked with ancient Buddhist manuscripts, and the Painting School, the Handicrafts Emporium followed by shopping for souvenirs in the shops of Thimphu, visit to the Tashichho Dzong, seat of the national government and the Central Monastic Body. Our guide will brief about the places and time for lunch and breakfast. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 09Drive to Punakha about 3 hours via Dochula Pass and sightseeing. Overnight at Hotel.On the way drive to Punakha we stop at Dochula pass to view Higher Himalayas. Lunch at Punakha. After lunch, visit Punakha Dzong built in 1637 situated between Pho Chu (Male river) and Mo Chu (Female river), visit Chime Lhakhang, “the Temple of Fertility”. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 10Drive to Paro via Thimpu. Overnight at Hotel.After breakfast, drive to Paro via Thimphu. Lunch at Thimphu. Afternoon, free for shopping. In the evening, drive to Paro. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 11Departure at Paro International Airport.We will transfer to Paro International Airport for you onward destination. You can continue the trip to Nepal for the more adventurous trekking, wildlife adventure, white water rafting, adventure sports, cultural tours and many more activities.
