Our tour guide will explain in brief about the cultural and historical importance of those places. Your tour ends about 5:00 PM. You will be transferred to your hotel after the sightseeing. Overnight at Hotel. (Breakfast is included)

Day 03 Fly to Tenzing and Hillary Airport in Lukla (2840 meters) and trek to Phakding (2610 meters) about 3 hours. You will be escorted to domestic airport for scenic flight to Lukla in the early morning. You will reach at Tenzing Hillary airport approximately after 35 Min flight from Kathmandu. The flight offers you the scenic Mountain View, forest, rivers, and terrace of mountain fields. The easy and relaxing trekking trail descending to Dudhakoshi River and passing the small village called Ghat following the mountain sides takes you to Phakding. Overnight at teahouse. (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner included).

Day 04 Trek to Namche Bazaar (3440 meters) about 5 hours. Overnight at Guesthouse. We start our trekking to Namch Bazzar after early morning breakfast. The small mountain town is also popular as the Gateway of Everest Region Trekking. We continue our trek via crossing many suspension bridges over Dudhkoshi River inside Sagarmatha National Park. After our lunch break at Jorsalle, we continue to hike passing many pine trees, rivers and local villages. Finally we will reach at Namche after approximately five hours hiking , the small and beautiful mountain town surrounded by mountains on three sides and Dudhkoshi River on the other. You can also buy some hiking equipments or personal belongings at shops in the small town if you have missed something in Kathmandu. Overnight at guesthouse. (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner included).

Day 05 Rest for acclimatization in Namche Bazaar. Massif Holidays Team always consider safety as a prime concern in every trip. Acclimatization is the best to avoid the Altitude Mountain Sickness. We rest at Namche today to acclimatize and to explore the popular Sherpa village. After breakfast we will walk to Syangboche Airport for the breath taking panoramic Mountain View including Mt. Everest. After two hours of hiking, you can explore in and around Namche. One can visit the museum, Sherpa people and their lifestyle or take rest at hotel with sip of yak butter tea. Overnight at teahouse. (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner included).

Day 06 Trek to Dole (4200 meters) about 6 hours. Heading North-East we follow the main trail to Thyangboche as it contours around the hills, before we branch off on a short climb on the flanks of the sacred peak of Khumblia (5761 m). We traverse for some time across yak pastures as the trail gradually ascends to Mon La. Below us is the confluence of the Dudh Kosi and Imja Khola and across the valley Thyangboche monastery is framed by Ama Dablam and Kantega. An initial short climb gets us onto the trail for the steady climb towards Gokyo. Since leaving the main trail we have seen progressively fewer trekkers and locals and the relative isolation of the trail is a pleasure. Sections of red birch, fir and dwarf rhododendron forest are interspersed with areas of yak pasture as we gradually gain altitude. We pass pleasant waterfalls and sit to gaze at the glaciers that flow from Taweche and Cholatse on the opposite side of the valley. Behind us, spectacular ridges lead to the peak of Khumblia and the numerous unnamed peaks that reach almost 6,000 meters. Camp will be at Dole, in a field beside a pleasant stream. In the distance Kantega and Thamserku rise above the foothills. Overnight at teahouse. (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner included).

Day 07 Trek to Machhermo (4410 meters) about 6 hours. Continuing a steady but constant climb, we reach the "village" of Machhermo for lunch. Like the few small villages in this valley, Machhermo has only a few buildings and these are empty much of the year. Villagers in Khumjung and Khunde generally own land here high up the valley, where they graze yaks in the summer months. This is a valuable acclimatization day as we prepare for the higher altitudes and our ascent of Gokyo Ri (5483m). This afternoon can be spent relaxing or you may wish to stretch your legs and take a walk up the ridge behind Luza for a view of the Gokyo Valley. Just a short walk from camps is the Machhermo porter shelter and rescue post which is well worth a visit, here you can learn more about altitude and the work of IPPG (International Porter Protection Group). Overnight at teahouse. . (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner included).

Day 08 Trek to Gokyo (4790 meters) about 5 hours. Overnight at Guesthouse. Our trekking starts after the breakfast at lodge as usual. We start in the morning by crossing the Ngozumpa Glacier on a sandy, shifting trail. Today is your short day walk to Gokyo Lake. Its only two hours walk from Thangnak but its really beautiful walk through the Ngajumpa glacier. After crossing an iron bridge over an stream the trial levels out as it follows the valley past the first lake, known as Longpongo at 4690M, where we get chance to observe the Lama’s footprints on a stone. The second lake, Taboche Tsho mesmerizes us by the shimmering turquoise blue sheet of water sparkling in the sun. Little we reach the third lake, called Dudh Pokhari, linked by a surging stream to the previous one. Gokyo village stands by the third lake and Cho-Oyu Mountain. Above the lake provides panoramic views of Cho Oyu, Gyachung Kang, Lhotse, Makalu, cholatse and Tawache. Gokyo is a popular Himalayan resort without crowd with comfortable lodges, excellent food and stunning views. We have enough time to explore the Gokyo Valley today. Overnight at guesthouse. (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner included).

Day 09 Rest day at Gokyo and excursion around Gokyo Valley & Lake. Today is the rest day for acclimatization and be prepared for Gokyo Ri climb. You can also hike to fifth lake to spend the day that also helps in acclimatization. The pleasant day hike to Fifth lake takes about three hours of walking distance from your guesthouse. You will be back at teahouse for overnight. Overnight at teahouse. (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner included).

Day 10 Climb to Gokyo – Ri (5483 meters) and trek back to Machhermo (4410meters). About 7 hours. Early in the morning, we climb to Gokyo Ri and it looms above the village on the northern edge of the lake and we leave camp just after first light, following a steep path up the hillside. As we climb, the summits of Everest, Lhotse and Makalu slowly come into sight and the view from the summit of Gokyo Ri itself is one of the finest to be in the Everest region, some say it is even better than from Kala Patthar, return to Gokyo then short trekking down to the village of Machhermo. Overnight at teahouse. (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner included).

Day 11 Trek to Namche Bazzar (3440 meters). About 5 hours. After having breakfast at lodge, we start our trek and today, the trail gently descends to Dole and then starts descending steeply to Photse Tenga (3650m.) passing through rhododendron forests. Then the path immediately ascends steeply to Mongla Danda (4000m.) and gently descends up to Kyanjoma (3500m.) following small ups and down to Namche Bazaar, overnight at Lodge. Overnight at teahouse. (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner included).

Day 12 Trek to Lukla (2840 meters) About 6 hours. The last day of your trekking includes some short uphill climbs then down to the Bhote-Koshi River and the final uphill climb of 45 minutes takes you at lukla. Overnight at teahouse. (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner included).

Primarily the trekking season in Nepal is categorized under different four seasons as Autums (September to November), Winter (December to February), Spring (March to May) and  Summer (June to August). Autums and Spring are the perfect time of the year for the breath taking views of King-Kong Himalayas and  trekking around the world’s most dramatic landscape. Most popular trekking in Annapurna, Everest, Langtang, Mustang, Manaslu and many other trekking destinations including off-the beaten trails are woth visiting during Autums and Spring season. Besides this, Nepal has some rain shadow area where the monsoon is lighter. These areas are visit worthy during the Summer season (June, July & August). Upper Mustang and  Upper Dolpo are the worth visiting places during these months. Besides this some short and few days trekking in Nepal can be done throughout the year as well.

Weather in the mountains is hard to predict.  Days are generally warm if the sun is out and night is a bit cooler. Even there is snow in the months of December January & February but days are warm and beautiful if sun comes out in the sky. Always expect the unexpected weather in the mountains. The temperature could be as high as 20 deg C to -10 deg C low in the mountains. Nepal is the country of extremes. The low-land plains of the Terai can have tropical temperatures and also the mosquitoes. The Himalayas can get to sub-zero temperatures, but the sun blaze can bring some warmth during the day, even in the mountains. The temperature of Kathmandu goes below 1 Degree Celsius (34 Degree Fahrenheit) in winter and rises to an average of 25 Degree Celsius (77 Degree Fahrenheit) in summer.

Autumn (Sept – Nov):- Autumn season is considered as the best time for trekking in Nepal, which offers excellent weather and tantalizing mountain views. Moderate temperatures, clear sky with outstanding views, making it a great time to do any of our trek. Occasional short storms may dump snow at high altitudes. The average temperature during the this period is 15 degrees C with a maximum temp of 20 degrees C during sunny days and a minimum of -10 degrees C in the morning and at night, for areas above 4000 meters altitude.

Winter (Dec – Feb):- This season is noted for occasional snowfall at higher elevations in Himalayas. Though it gets colder in night, often it offers the clear day / blue sky and relatively less trekkers on the trail. However, we need to be selective in choosing the winter trekking as climbing and crossing high passes trip won’t be an ideal option. Trek like Everest base camp, Annapurna view trekking, Everest View Trekking, Poon Hill trekking, Langtang Valley trekking etc can be done even in winter. The average temperature during the winter is 15 degrees C with a maximum temp of 20 degrees C during sunny days and a minimum of -10 degrees C in the morning and at night, for areas above 4000 meters altitude.

Spring (March – May):- Different varieties of wild flowers, specially the rhododendrons make the hillside a haunting paradise during this spring season. It is mildly warm at lower elevations and at higher elevation the mountain views are excellent and temperature is quite moderate. During springtime, the average temperature is 17 degrees C with a maximum of 25 degrees C during sunny days and a minimum of -15 degrees C in the morning and at night for areas above 4000 meters.

Summer/Rain (Jun-Aug):- Summer time from June till mid September makes travel wet and warm. These times are blessed for the keen botanist as the higher valleys and meadows blossom with flowers and lush vegetation. Trekking in the rain-shadow areas north of the Himalaya like Upper Mustang and Dolpo could be an ideal trek selection in this season. The maximum temperature during the monsoon/summer season averages 25 degrees C during sunny days with a minimum -15 degrees C in the morning and night at areas above 4000 meters. The average temperature tends to hover around a comfortable 18 degrees C.

It’s very personal question as expenses depends on habit. Normally, in Kathmandu you can allocate about USD 10 to 15 per person per lunch or dinner. USD 10 to USD 15 per person per day will be sufficient to buy bottles of water, chocolates, pay for hot shower during the trekking. Other personal expenses will be your own calculation.

Being a part of society and environment, we have lots of social and environmental responsibilities. We are operating Everest Base Camp Trekking without making any harm to environment and social code and conduct. We jointly participate with Kathmandu Educational Environment Project (KEEP) for different clean up campaigns and social awareness programs. We have decided to contribute a certain amount of our profit for the developments and maintenance of different trekking trails in Everest Region every year. We believe on “joint hands can hold the Universe” and kindly appeal all our travelers to contribute something in our social and environmental project.

We operate the group joining trips, private group trips and individual trips for all trekking destinations in Nepal. Almost all guesthouses/lodges in Everest and Annapurna trekking trails have telephones and internet services. They provide the WIFI service with some extra charge which helps to get updated with social Medias, friends or family. But other trekking trails like Langtang, Mustang, Manaslu, Dhaulagiri and other off-the beaten trails has very less or sometimes no facility of internet and phone calls. All our guides carry the local mobile phone. You can use his mobile phone to make any local or international call from trekking trails by paying him directly. You can even pass him number to be connected with your family or friends. We highly recommend taking local SIM card for call and internet services during trekking. You need to provide two copies of your photographs and your passport copy to get local SIM CARDS of NCELL & NTC (only these two companies provide telephone services in Nepal)

Not at all!! There are many vegetarian restaurants in the cities of Nepal and the guesthouses/lodges serve the vegetarian meals. We always recommend to eat vegetarian meals to avoid the food poisoning, eating heavy meals and non- vegetarian meals at the high altitude is not really safe for the digestion.

Normally, we recommended to spend 10% of the total amount you have spend for the trip to tip for the entire local staffs. You can ask more about it in our pre trip meeting in Kathmandu.
