This day you will be introduced with your tour and trekking guide and complete some formalities before starting sightseeing around Kathmandu valley. You will visit four popular places in Kathmandu Valley - Monkey Temple – Swyambhunath, Kathmandu Durbar Square, Boudhanath, and Pashupatinath.
You will be escorted to the domestic airport and with the scenic flight to Lukla reach the Tenzing Hillary airport (around 35 min). You will be starting the trek towards Pakhding after arranging essential types of equipment and introducing with the rest of the team members. The easy and relaxing trekking trail descending to Dudhakoshi River and passing the small village called Ghat following the mountainsides takes you to Phakding.
Trekking to the Gateway of Everest Region – Namche Bazaar via crossing many suspension bridges over Dudhkoshi River inside Sagarmatha National Park and Jorsalle we reach to Namche, the small and beautiful mountain town surrounded by mountains on three sides and Dudhkoshi River on the other.

We rest at Namche today to acclimatize and to explore the popular Sherpa village, beautiful market, museum, Syangboche Airport and will observe the breathtaking panoramic views of mountains including Mt. Everest.
The trail leading North-East we follow the route to Tengboche located around the hills before we step on sacred peak of Khumblia (5761 m). Crossing through yak pastures, Mon La and step ahead below down the route is a conjunction of Dudh Koshi and Imja. Along with that a beautifully framed Tengboche monastery by Kantega and Ama Dablam is beautifully gifted by nature. Then the trail start ascends towards Gokyo leaving the main trail. Passing through pleasant waterfalls behind us, spectacular ridges lead to the peak of Khumblia and the numerous unnamed peaks that reach almost 6,000m then finally we reach to Dole.
Continuing a steady but constant climb, we reach the "village" of Machhermo for lunch. This is a valuable acclimatization day as we prepare for the higher altitudes and our ascent of Gokyo Ri (5483m). This afternoon can be spent relaxing or you may wish to stretch your legs and take a walk up the ridge behind Luza for a view of the Gokyo Valley. Just a short walk from camps is the Machhermo porter shelter and rescue post which is well worth a visit.
We continue our trek in the morning by crossing the Ngozumpa Glacier on a sandy, shifting trail. Today is your short day walk to Gokyo Lake. After crossing an iron bridge over a stream the trial levels out as it follows the valley past the first lake, known as Longpongo, where we get chance to observe the Lama’s footprints on a stone. The second lake, Taboche Tsho mesmerizes us by the shimmering turquoise blue sheet of water sparkling in the sun. Little we reach the third lake, called Dudh Pokhari, linked by a surging stream to the previous one. Gokyo village stands by the third lake and Cho-Oyu Mountain. Above the lake provides panoramic views of Cho Oyu, Gyachung Kang, Lhotse, Makalu, cholatse, and Tawache.
Today is the rest day for acclimatization and be prepared for Gokyo Ri climb. You can also hike to the fifth lake to spend the day that also helps in acclimatization. The pleasant day hike to Fifth Lake takes about three hours from your Guest house after finishing our excursion we return to the same guest house.
Early in the morning, we climb to Gokyo Ri and it looms above the village on the northern edge of the lake and we leave camp just after first light, following a steep path up the hillside. As we climb, the summits of Everest, Lhotse and Makalu slowly come into sight and the view from the summit of Gokyo Ri itself is one of the finest to be in the Everest region,some say it is even better than from Kala Patthar, return to Gokyo then short trekking down to the village of Machhermo.
After having breakfast, we start our trek and today, the trail gently descends to Dole and then starts descending steeply to Photse Tenga (3650m.) passing through rhododendron forests. Then the path immediately ascends steeply to Mongla Danda (4000m.) and gently descends up to Kyanjoma (3500m.) following small ups and down to Namche Bazaar.
The last day of your trekking includes some short uphill climbs then down to the Bhote-Koshi River and the final uphill climb of 45 minutes takes you to Lukla.
