    Best Nepal Holidays

I truly enjoyed my trip to Nepal because of Massif Holidays. The tour was very personalized and that was the best part about it. I was traveling on my own and Massif was more than willing to help me create an itinerary to fit my needs and give me a good price. They definitely offered the best deal for the amount that I did on my trip. The owner and guide, Bijay, was so kind and knowledgeable. He has a lot of experience in the industry and definitely knows what he is doing. He showed me the highlights of Kathmandu: Swayambhunath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, Durbar Square, and the Crematorai. All are must see attaractions in Nepal, though Boudhanath is currently in restoration after an earthquake (so future visitors are aware). I stayed at fairly lower scale hotels, because I traveled on a budget, but they were still clean and had very friendly staff. The people of Nepal were all very nice to tourists. I really enjoyed enjoyed Pokhara, which is the main city to start most of the treks. My hotel there was so cute and cozy and that cit has a great small town vibe. I also went on a 5 day trek to Poon Hill with Massif and they took care of me very step of the way. They had the guesthouses booked and all meals were included. My guide, Hari, was very patient with me and my inability to trek quickly haha. He was very adept at knowing the route and helping me with any needs that came up: showers not hot, falling in mud, etc. One morning, he even surprised me with peanut butter on my toast for breakfast, just because I mentioned I was craving it the night before! Trekking was hard for me but I was so appreciative to have a guide that was willing to be patient the entire time. When I got back from Pokhara, I headed to Chitwan seeking to see some rare animals at the Chitwan National Park. This city ended up being my favorite in Nepal. It had more of a rural area vibe and the place I stayed, Hotal Parkland, was awesome. By far it was my favorite hotel during my Nepal excursion. There were jungles in this town so the hotel seemed like an oasis in the desert with the jungle vegetation around us. I loved that I got to see the famous one-horned rhino at Chitwan National Park and bathed with an elephant the same day. It was so much fun to get in the water with the elephants! I highly recommended trying that if you get a chance. The guide I had in Chit was very personable and spoke English clearly. I appreciated having his help and the company made a great choice using him. I honestly had a very easy time using this company and they made sure to tend to all my needs. They are a newer company but I know they will have a growing business as they continue to provide wonderful service for their guests!! Thank you so much!
